I spent most of the day gardening, something which gives me an immense sense of satisfaction. It’s good to feel that you’ve made a difference.

Susie spent most of the morning cleaning the house, and most of the afternoon looking for ants. Both activities seemed to give her an immense sense of satisfaction.

 

The boys were delighted at the arrival of a new ant house, to make up for yesterday’s turmoil. The level of excitement this generated had to be seen to be believed. Apparently twenty ants have been rounded up and put into custody.
